(IMHS)

Master’s/Doctorate degree AND 30+ hours of competency based IMH Training

EXPERIENCE

2+ years of post-MA/MS employment providing Infant Mental Health services  

REFLECTIVE PRACTICE

50+ clock hours in 1-2 year period

Infant Family Specialist

Bachelors/Master’s degree AND 30+ hours of competency based IMH Training

EXPERIENCE

2+ years of post-BA/BS employment with infants/toddlers

24+ clock hours in 1-2 year period

Clinical, Research/Faculty, or Policy

EDUCATION/

TRAINING

Master’s/Doctorate degree AND 30+ hours of competency based IMH Training

EXPERIENCE

3+ years as a Infant Mental Health

practice leader

REFLECTIVE PRACTICE

50+ clock hours in 1-2 year period (Clinical)

The Florida Association for Infant Mental Health holds the sole license to offer the credential:

Endorsement for Culturally Relevant, Relationship-Focused Practice Promoting Infant and Early Childhood Mental Heath® in the state of Florida.

The Florida Association for Infant Mental Health is part of the Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health.
